The real test, these days, is whether you can match the L4 numbers. Once again, on the P120 EROS does quite favorably. At the time this test case was executed, EROS did not yet implement the small spaces optimizations that are in later versions of L4.
Since these numbers were measured, the EROS IPC subsystem has been redesigned for larger payloads and more registers transferred at the same cost. Also, we have implemented the small spaces optimizations, though none of the benchmark figures here reflect that optimization.
